Laura Linney

Laura Linney (born February 5 1964 New York New York U.S.) American actress best known for playing strong yet vulnerable characters. Linney was raised in theater-related families, her father, Romulus Linney was a playwright. Linney received her degree from Brown University in 1986 and further studied at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow and then graduated in the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) which was located in New York City in 1990. She was in New York City when she began the beginning of her Broadway career. She was praised for her roles in Hedda Gabrieller and Six Degrees of Separation.
