Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy was born 16 April 1996, in Miami Florida. The girl is English, half Spanish. Parents include Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. The father of her was Argentine with Scottish and English ancestry. Her mother's ancestry is Spanish and English. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children from her father's previous marriage. They lived at Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy reached the age of six, later moving to Victoria district of London. Taylor-Joy says the move to London was traumatizing and that she didn't take the time to learn English so that she could avoid returning to Argentina. Hill House became her school that she chose after being ordered to move schools. Then she attended Queen's Gate School where she studied ballet and acted in school productions. At the age of 16, she quit school in order to pursue a full-time career in acting. Taylor-Joy always wished to work as an actor. When she was 16, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the chance to model.
