Kelly Clarkson (American singer/songwriter) is a well-known American following her win on American Idol's debut season. The win brought Clarkson to fame and earned her the contract of RCA Records 19 Recordings, and 'S Records. Since then, she has made several recordings from her studio. Three albums have topped the US Billboard 200 charts while the other two were only a hair from. She has been one of America's top performers. As she achieved success she experimented with different themes and music styles often writing her own songs to her own personal experiences. With her distinct voice and unique talent, she has received praise from the public as well as a variety of accolades. Notably, she's been awarded the Grammy Award a record three times. She has also appeared in film and television. She also wrote her children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as been a part of several charities.
