This victory enabled her to compete at the Miss Georgia contest in June 1985. The tournament was also hers on Saturday, 22 June 1985. Mohr who had won the tournament, went on to represent Georgia in the Miss America 1986 competition. Miss America 1986 in Atlantic City in New Jersey in September of 1985. She was, however, not one of the Top-10 finalists for the national title.
